Mobile Gaming

Hey Readers and Fellow Bloggers – I become more boring now, from being an adventture seeker to someone who’ll just stay at home and watch a movie and now, I’m just always infront of a screen reading through, wait no, not reading, but to just downloading games from the app store. I think I have at least 25 games here, 5 games I played, 19 games where I have an account and 1 which I even had the time to download the data. So for the time being, I’ll be coming up with this that I see on this game and hopefully you can share your thoughts with me.

Platform

Right now, I’m using my Asus Zenfone 3 to play most of the games that I have. It can run games smoothly, from Clash of Clans to Exiles. And the good thing is, it has quick charging and a big battery life.

So if you have an android game that you would like me to review, comment it down and I prommise you I will take most of my time playing it.

Note: I only will review Android games for now I can’t promise to giv e any tips, but I will be very happy if you give me some. I won’t be using any cheats or mods to fasten my progress.

Here are the games that I currently have right now:(Sorted from most Played to least played)

  • Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
  • SwordArtOnline: Memory Defrag

Izanagi Tube Mod

“Simple yet elegant.”

I have been changing mods every month. As in, literally every month.but ever since november, when I got the Izanagi version 1.2 (They have many versions. From the original v1 then the limited v1.5 then the v1.2 nd the thailand edition and the most recent ver 2 whcih have interchangeble resin sleeve) I never bought a brand new mod.It satisfy everything that I want and to note that this is not the first time that I had a mechanical mod. I have used a series box mod, to parallel to a normal tube mod, clone and legit.

What I got from Wnder Vaper, the mind behind the Izanagi mods and the upcoming Alpha RDA was the version 1.2 during the PVX last November 2016. During the event, I also got the silver plated contacts, spring and the flat atty base (thailand edition originally have the flat atty base since most of their RDA are 24mm).

Construction

The tube is 24mm made of Stainless steel grade aluminum (light and durable). Firing pin initially have copper contacts but you can also buy the silver, lower voltage drops, and the brass contacts. I will be writing more information about the difference between these contacts soon. It has an ultem firing button you can also upgrade it to where it has their logo (somewhat like the sharingan of the uchiha if you are watching naruto). This is a hybrid mod and the atty base s made of copper as well. Version 1.2 have the 22 mm base which have 4 holes this is mostly for a 22 mm base only and you need to protrude the pin of your atty if you will be using a 24 mm. 25 mm atty will have an overhang on this tube mod. better yet buy the version 2 or wish that you can turn back time and reserve for the limited edition version 1.5 (how I wish i had bought the gold finish!!!)

The paint on this mod is great. I don’t recall the paint that they used but all of the mods that I have, thier paint fades or chips easily but for this one, not a single scratch given that I don’t take care of my things, I just put it on my pocket, bag, anywhere (basta hindiako maingat), I am also acidic and its paint i still hthere. not a single hairline scratch . But if by any chance that you had one, search for jjeffrey Chua on the group, he is one of the admin, and he will make your Izanagi mod brand new (looks like).

Price

I bought it on sale for 1600 pesos. You can still score this tube on mod on some vape shops like JCloud or better yet join the Izanagi customs facebook page (will be including hyperlinks once I had the time)

Conclusion

Pros

  • convenient and handy
  • sturdy
  • build quality is top class
  • price point
  • upgradable

Cons

  • I had build of around .12 ohms and it gets how fast

I had spent thousands on different mods and I never felt this way when I bought the Izanagi. The construction – Price – Conveniece of having use this mod for4 months is worth the price. SULIT!!! And if by any chance the they sell the connector to connect to Izanagi, I’m sure that I will be the first person to buy it. One of my wish is to have a stacked mod, they had made one but I only saw ojne person have it.

They will also release the Alpha RDA which I think will kill all locally made attomizers for it have side and bottom air flow control. It will also give you two options for the sleeve. I already message Wyn for the reservation of the Alpha but I’m expecting that as of this writing he is very busy in the production of these or playing mobile legends.

BTW, I was not paid o write this. I just appreciates their masterpiece and once I got a hand on the Alpha. If I loved it. I will tell you.

And to point out– it is Izanagi not Izagani!!!

Alcatel Flash 2 Buyers Guide

One of Lazada’s top hits is the Alcatel Flash which initially sells at 6190 pesos but not ypu can purchase this mid range phone at 4990.

I bought one two weeks ago and. I’m happy on its performance since this was planned as a replacement of my old Xperia Z phone.

On this review, I’m aiming to let you understand without going on the technicals. So you don’t have to be a genius to know if you’re gonna buy it or not.

Out of the Box

When the item came, it’s still have its plastic on, meaning it’s brand new, unlike the other items that I’ve bought on lazada, like the colonial mod vape and the eleaf istick 40w.

It includes an LTE smart SIM card that I haven’t tested yet. The Flash,  charger, a separate leather back cover with flip  and a mediocre headset (which can be compared to those 20 pesos headset that you can buy on the streets).

Likes

-Viewing angles are good, I’ve now used this phone as my movie center since I only do watch movies at 720p.

– Storage is at 16GB and it can support my 64GB sd card.

-Knock to wake up screen is responsive and you can also put in gestures on the phone. ( I use it often so tgat I don’t need to extend my fingers)

-You can also assign functions on the physical keys on these phone. I’m currently using the volume rocker down as the back since the back capacitive buttom is a bit too far for my reach when im using it on one hand which I prefer.

-No bloatwares!!! More space!!! It’s like youre running on stock android!

-Speaker is one of a kind. It produces loud volumes and when I use spotify, I opt out from using speakers anymore.

Two things that I loved most about this phone is the camera and the battery.

Camera may not have that quick auto focus feature on it but it produces quality images for me. I’ve got three updates on these phone and all of those was for the enhancement of the camera.
This phone also have a dedicated camera buttom and a two tone flash which you’ll love, most hugh end phones offer two tone flash nowadays.
The front camera also have a flash on ut which you can also adjust the brightness when you’re taking your selfies.
Whem focusing, it also blurs out object at the back of the subject which makes you feel like a pro(lakas makafeeling)
They said you can also buy dedicated lenses on alcatel stores when you’ll shoot macro and they also have the fiah eye lens. But I haven’t search for one. Lazada offers flash with free lenses on it though where you don’t need too clip it anymore.

Battery is amazing. Ive been using it since 10AM today, and it’s already 6 now and it is still at 30%. I’ve been watching movies on Facebook using free data and I’ve also downloaded games in the playstore, stacks, and played it for an hour but the battery level is at 30%. Imagine. It has been almost 8 hours of me using this phone and the it is still alive. (don’t judge me if I doing nothing).

But hell yeah, it can last a day and it can take good photos, that’s all that we need.
I will try to download NBA 2k16 later and I’ll update this post if it can run the game smoothly at full graphics if you’re also into gaming but if you’re just into CoC or clash royale. You want have any problems playing them.

Hate

Yes, I put it that way, since I really hate this annoying this on this phone. You might want to consider this things before you buy this phone.

Back button is not working now. After using the phone for two days, the back button is not working anymore, that’s also the reason that I’ve used tge volume rocker as the back. There was one time that it worked after it being fully charged but when the battery goes down, it ain’t working again. Then after a few days, it really stopped working regardless of what’s its battery level. Aside from it being to hard to reach it ain’t working anymore.

Cheap headset. I really don’t use the word cheap, I usually used inexpensive,  but on this case the headset is cheap. It’s cheap. Got no other words on how to describe it.

Headphone jack is unsteady. There was an instance where I don’t here any sound at all. It recognizes that I’ve plugged in headphone but It doesn’t make any sound even at full volume, tried a different one but it srill is the same.
Hell yeah, the song is playing when I plugged it out.
I’ve tried it again and it currently working now. Who knows until when it’ll work.

-And lastly, I hate this phone because it is already broken. Given that it is brand new. Though I’m cover with Lazada’s money back guarantee for 14 days, I can return it and get a full refund, I don’t want to get that hassle of bringing this in an LBC store.

Not to good on this phone(my opinion)

-Battery takes some time to charge. 2-3 hours in my case using my charger which charge my Xperia Z in just 1 and half hour.
-The back cover is designed to feel like a volcanic stone.
-Bezel is thick. Both flash and my Xperia have the same 5″ display but the Flash seems bigger, well taller because of ots bezels and its metal-like finish on the sides and top.
-Power button is located above the volume rocker.
-Upon using this phone, I’ve deleted the pre installed Touchpal Keyboard since it has the google keyboard installed as well but there was no option in using the google keyboard so I restored the phone for the touchpal to be preinstalled again. (Not a big deal tgough, just update the google keyboard first before deleting the touchpal)

Conclusion

Though it seems like this phone is already broken, I’ve decided not to return it anymore. I’ve just used the other functionality of this to cover for the back button issue. Because for me battery and camera is all that’s important and specially my time. I’m not thinking that this phone will last a year and I beed to replace this again. But still, I’m happy with its performance. The camera may have some lags on using it but the outputs are great, just make your fingera steady or take multiple shots.

And if you have a solution to my current back button issue, please comment it below. I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

O+ Duo 2-in-1 Tips

O+ now has three 2 in 1, their second iteration of 2 in 1 is the o+ duo which I purchased for Php 6,995 at memo express in SM Valenzuela.

The O+ Duo has can run with android 5.1 and windows 10 with 64 GB of storage, it was separated by O+, 32 GB and 16 GB free respectively. Both OS runs smoothly on both device and both can handle multitasking good.

Let me now go over the problems that I have encountered on using the device. This is also the main reason that I came up with this post, so you don’t need to experience the frustration that I encounter.

First, the device that I got was the last unit they have, they only 2 got units initially so I just trust the guy that the item has not been tested yet. He boot the system and windows was the first OS that booted. I entered my credentials and the guy  tested all accessories. Everything was good, except the headset, I tried it in my Xperia Z and it was not recognized. But other than that, it’s all good. I paid for the item and brought the unit home. When I tried it when I got home, the next problem happened.

Second, It was really my fault to encounter the second problem, I didn’t test the android OS nor did I ask how to boot it. After going through the net and watching a video in YouTube, I figured out the solution to this. You just need to deactivate the tablet mode, because it is in default that it is in tablet mode then on the desktop, you’ll be able to see the icon for switching OS. There you go, it rebooted. You can easily switch to windows by just going to the notifications in the android.

You do not need to restore to factory setting to get the switcher because that is what I did. Poor me.

Third, It may not be the tablets fault but when I changed the date manually, it ruined everything, all Windows apps didn’t open, from the store, mail, calendar and most importantly the settings. So make sure not to change it manually. I tried going over the net to look for the solution but nothing helped. Last resort was to reset the PC, unluckily, I can’t look for a way to reset it but with luck, it opened the advanced option for resetting the machine. Once it booted, It’s fully operational again. So note to myself, never changed the date manually again.

Fourth, battery drains fast. I turned it off with 100%, then when I opened it in the afternoon, its just 31%.

After those problems, windows is now fully operational and been using it for a week now without any issues.

Notes:

  • You can use a smartphone for a touchpad, I use the remote link app in my android phone Remote Link by ASUS.
  • This supports OTG but don’t have a USB port.
  • Keyboard is miniature.
  • Make sure to go to settings and update the windows OS if you’ve got time.

This post is intended to help O+ duo users and that includes me, so if you’ve got any tips for me as well, leave it in the comment. Thank you so much.
